About the role:

A wonderful opportunity has just become available in our Category team, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join the team as Category Manager. Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, you will work with various business units to provide insights and information to support and drive Lindt business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively unlock category insights that lead to the development of category growth drivers and opportunities
  • Work closely with the sales & marketing team on range reviews and customer meetings
  • Execution of best practice category strategies & insights-based projects and drive commercial execution alignment
  • Create scan data & shopper analysis reports and assist on data related projects as required from the category, sales, marketing and brand teams

What you’ll bring: 

  • Have considerable FMCG industry experience preferably with breadth across functions such as Category, National Accounts, Field Sales or Commercial. Alternatively, a strong strategic consulting background, preferably within FMCG industry.
  • High attention to detail and commercially savvy with strong analytical background with experience analysing complex data from a range of different sources, drawing insights, and forming recommendations.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as well as challenge & influence stakeholders
  • Experience with FMCG data companies such as Circana (Scan & Panel Data) or Quantium with advanced excel skills. Shelf management experience will be highly regarded
