We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Financial Planning & Analyst Lead to join our collaborative finance team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. This is an ideal role for a finance professional with strong analytical skills, business partnering experience, and the confidence to influence and support decision-making across a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The Position

As the Financial Planning & Analyst Lead, you will play a key role in driving financial planning and analysis across the business. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role will oversee forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling to support commercial decision-making and growth opportunities. You will provide insightful analysis, reports, and recommendations that make complex financial data accessible and actionable for non-financial stakeholders.

Working closely with the wider Commercial Finance team, you will also lead the preparation of monthly reporting packs, contribute to strategic projects, and use tools such as Power BI to improve visibility of business performance.

This is a 12-month maternity cover contract, commencing in early November, offering an excellent opportunity to gain exposure at a senior level within a global FMCG brand.

The Person

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • 2–4 years’ experience as a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Analyst, ideally within FMCG

  • CA or CPA qualified (preferred)

  • Strong commercial acumen and confidence in influencing business outcomes

  • Proven ability to present and explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling

  • Previous experience with Power BI
