About the role:

An exciting opportunity to join the Lindt team working in our Melbourne South-East & designated regional areas and surrounding areas has become available! In this customer facing sales role, you will interact with our Independent grocery customers.

You will be accountable for driving sales through optimal distribution and physical availability of our brands across prime in-store locations.

Additionally, you will drive the quality of store displays, deliver excellent execution and build influential relationships with key stakeholders to deliver incremental business and category growth.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in FMCG sales or an analytical role would be beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build strong and influential relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong commercial awareness, selling and negotiation skills with a demonstrated drive for results and passion for sales
  • Proven track record of problem solving & delivering results
  • Comfortable in a KPI driven environment with the ability to take action to address gaps and build plans for growth
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data from a mix of data sources to translate insights into relevant strategies for your territory
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook

Key responsibilities

  • You will drive sales growth, customer engagement and deliver successful in-store execution
  • Develop strong and influential relationships with key customers
  • Drive optimal points of distribution and physical availability of Lindt brands
  • Secure prime shelf space and drive quality of displays across all physical locations
  • Negotiate and implement store permanent and temporary locations

 

Travel Requirements

  • You will work remotely and be responsible for travelling to visit customers in your assigned territory
  • Your Territory includes regional area trips (Seymour to Albury, Lorne to Warrnambool)
     2-4 nights away from home at least every 6-8 weeks
  • This position requires a valid Full Drivers Licence

(It's essential to be physically capable of lifting stock to construct displays and utilise Lindt's premium point-of-sale materials)
