About the Role 
As a Senior BI Consultant, you will be a key member of the Lindt IT team, reporting to the Solutions Delivery Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive the analysis, design, development, and delivery of SAP BI solutions across the APAC region. This position includes platform support, monitoring, end user support, training, and documentation for deployed BI solutions. We need someone who is intellectually curious, picks things up fast, takes ownership, and can lead by example while staying deeply hands-on. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of SAP BI solutions across BW/4HANA, HANA modelling, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), covering Retail, Supply Chain, and Finance domains. 
• Run requirements workshops with business stakeholders, translate needs into technical specs, and act as a trusted advisor on BI capabilities and data solutions. 
• Architect and optimise data models, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks — mentoring junior team members on best practices along the way. 
• Own comprehensive documentation across the full delivery lifecycle: design specs, data dictionaries, user guides, and training materials. 
• Provide L2/L3 support, platform monitoring, and performance tuning to keep BI operations running smoothly.  

What You Will Bring 

• At least 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BI/BW, with strong proficiency in SAP BW/4HANA, BW on HANA 
• Expertise in HANA modelling (Calculation Views, Analytical Views, Procedures) using XSA or Web IDE. 
• Extensive experience with ABAP/AMDP development for BI use cases. 
• Proven ability to gather business requirements through workshops and stakeholder engagement – translating them into actionable technical solutions. 
• Experience designing and delivering end-to-end BI solutions across complex business domains (Retail, Supply Chain, Finance). 
• Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) including dashboard development, stories, and data visualisations. 
• Experience with Analysis for Office (AFO) for advanced Excel-based reporting. 
• Ability to produce high-quality technical specifications, design documents, and user guides. 
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. 
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, able to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

It would be desirable if you also bring:

• Familiarity with Power BI or other non-SAP BI tools and how they integrate with SAP data sources.
• Experience with SAP Data Intelligence or SAP Datasphere.
