About the role:
We’re searching for a dynamic State Territory Manager to lead, inspire, and bring out the best in our talented team of Merchandisers. This role will be responsible for Canberra, Far South Coast, Wagga and surrounding areas across major shopping centres and independent stores.
In this role, you’ll be out in the field, looking after (WW, Coles, BIG W & IGA) and coaching/leading a small team of merchandisers, meeting with key customers (store managers/owners, Group and Regional Managers), to ensure Lindt is represented to the highest standard. Sharing your insights on sales, competitor activity, and team success.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing, coaching & planning a small team of merchandisers in your territory.
- Executing Lindt priorities, including upselling to all customers.
- Improving Lindt distribution/range in independent customers, including selling in and implementing Planograms and Lindt deals.
- Building strong relationships with customers in your territory, that delivers mutually beneficial sales results.
What you’ll bring: A robust background in sales, particularly within the FMCG industry
- Previous experience within FMCG
- Previous experience with Coles, Woolworths, and independent stores
- Successfully led and coached a team of individuals to help them reach their full potential
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves to build eye catching displays and implement category lead planograms.
- Strong planning and problem-solving abilities, where you can work as part of a team or autonomously.
- Sound analysis skills to review market trends to make informed
- Able to negotiate with stakeholders and communication to influence outcomes, ensuring successful partnerships
Travel requirements
Able to travel regionally every 4-6 weeks for 2-3 nights as a minimum.
(It's essential to be physically capable of lifting stock to construct displays and utilise Lindt's premium point-of-sale materials)
